Omega Seamaster 300
The Omega Seamaster 300 was launched more than 50 years ago and since then it has redefined modern horology. The industry has been changed forever by this remarkable model with a revolutionary form, innovative functionality and state of the art technologies. It is the ideal timepiece for those who adore timeless beauty, inspired sophistication and unique charm.
The Master Co-Axial caliber is one of the most impressive technologies introduced by Omega to the watches industry. This is what sets the Seamaster 300 in motion, the intricate automatic movement that offers amazing accuracy and superior functionality. And no question about it, the Seamaster 300 is the ultimate James Bond watch, the perfect companion for fierce modern men with a rich appetite for adventure.
1967 was the year when Omega launched the Seamaster 300. This was the company’s promise of creating a perennial design suitable for professionals and divers who need a high performance underwater instrument. For half a century it has been the symbol timepiece for extreme diving watches and recently Omega has decided to offer it a welcome upgrade both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. The result was a new generation watch constructed to serve the needs of adventurers on land and in the oceans.
Just like its historic predecessor, the latest version of the Seamaster 300 has a remarkable symmetrical case and lugs, lighter indexes, a dark dial, and big numbers and hands for providing a better legibility regardless of the lightning conditions. The newer Omega Seamaster 300 is better in every possible way.
Even though the contemporary Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial keeps its basic design features and functionality, its most recent upgrades and updates turn it into one of the company’s most thrilling models when it comes to the materials and technologies used for making it. Its highlights are- 18 k Ceragold™, Liquidmetal®, 18K Sedna™ gold, the fully anti-magnetic Master Co-Axial mechanical movement and an extendable bracelet.
The Omega Seamaster 300 comes in a 41 mm metallic case that is available in the following versions- grade 5 titanium, stainless steel, 18 K Sedna™ gold and 18K yellow gold. There are also bi-color models available, which combine stainless steel or 5 titanium with 18K yellow gold or 18K Sedna™ gold. Also, the bezel of the stainless steel and full titanium models come with Liquidmetal® diving scales whereas the bi-color or gold watches have OMEGA Ceragold™ diving scales. The Seamaster 300 comes with a four-year warranty and is water resistant to 30 bar (300 metres / 1000 feet).
Omega makes the new Seamaster 300 in two dial colors- one is black and the other one is sand-blasted blue. These are adorned with recessed hour markers coated with a “vintage” Super-LumiNova material. Regarding the hours, minutes and seconds hands, these are either crafted from 18 k Sedna™ gold or rhodium-plated. There are actually two Omega Seamaster 300 versions that have been designed from 950 platinum. One of these models was manufactured in a limited edition of 357 pieces and has a platinum bracelet. The second one comes in a limited edition of 757 items and has a beautiful blue leather strap. These special designs are different than the other Omega Seamaster 300 watches due to their stunning blue enamel dial, 950 platinum case and 850 grade platinum Liquidmetal® diving scale.
The Omega Seamaster 300 is a uniquely designed timepiece that features some of the most outstanding performances within the watches industry. It is the preferred diving instrument for countless underwater professionals around the world.
